A little bit about me -

I moved to Moraga in 2004 from San Francisco with my 2 very young children, husband and cat.  I loved living in San Francisco and starting my family there.  We moved for the same reasons many of my clients do:   the highly ranked schools, easy BART ride to the City,  and just an overall great, close-in suburb to the city.   I was anxious about leaving the city I love but found so many things to love about Lamorinda.

I started my Real Estate career in 2007 with Coldwell Banker Orinda and I have found many similarities in my work life to my personal life in Lamorinda.   Great people, interesting histories and a fantastic myriad of interests.

I have built a solid group of real estate clients in the 17 years I have been practicing.  In this time, I have experienced a variety of financial markets, challenges in the environment, and a pandemic.   Looking back, it does appear that my original philosophy rings true:  Owning a home is not just an investment tool, but a place to grow roots and build a life.

My clientele runs the full gamut from first-time home buyers to families needing to move for a job to the ever so common up or downsizing.  My business stems primarily through referrals from my existing clientele, or referrals from other real estate agents.

 

How I work-

When I am contracted to represent a seller, their time and financial output are my priority.  My listings receive my undivided attention in a 40+ hour a week manner.    My sole job is to bring your home into its best light, do thorough inspections for your protection and that of the buyer, bring in expert staging and photography and finally suggest a list price that will bring the most buyers through your home with the intention of obtaining the most offers possible, selling to the buyer who demonstrates they want the home the most, and ultimately achieving a win-win for both parties.

When a buyer engages my service, I like to spend quite a bit of time understanding where they have been, what worked and what didn't, why they are making this move and what their plans are down the road.   Finding out the answers to these questions helps me set them up for success in their location and meeting their financial goals. I am proud of my professional reputation in the Lamorinda real estate community which gives me the ability to work well with other agents on behalf of my buyers to obtain acceptance on offers for the properties my buyers decide they want to be their home.

 

What I believe in-

I have been fortunate to stay in business by working hard for my clients and having them happily refer me. What I do not believe in is self-promotion, mailers, billboards etc.  I believe in promoting my clients' interests, not my own. I do not believe any client is just another transaction number, rather I strongly believe in healthy and lasting relationships with my clients.   If you are reading this, you likely heard about me from a valued client of mine, and hopefully will be one of my small number of highly cared for and valued clients this year.
